We are Yara!
Events always move quickly at Phosyn, but never more so than over the past few months. We have just completed three years of record Company performance, achieved The Queen´s Award for Enterprise and during the past week we have new owners. This latter event, from which everyone will benefit, is of great significance.
In future we will be known as YARA PHOSYN LTD. To me this is an important endorsement of all Phosyn ever stood for. Yara, the world´s biggest plant nutrition company, has recognised the strength of our integrated approach to nutrition and embraced it in their future development plans. We should feel proud of this recognition.
We have changes at this time. Valued and faithful servants of the Company retire, or go through a transitional period towards retirement. Steve Howse, Bernard Jacklin, Michel Baravalle and Peter Wray are in this category. This is not the format to detail these gentlemen´s achievements only for me to say a heartfelt ´Thank You´.
So we have an ambitious future. We have a new Managing Director, Dr Geoff Paulson. Geoff has the background and experience to lead us forward and I am sure you will join me in welcoming him to the Company and participating in an atmosphere of innovation as we move forward. As in the past we have many challenges ahead, but remember during this progression WE ARE YARA.
