Successful Introduction of Bud Builder in Chile
In Chile, during March and April of every year, post harvest applications of foliar fertiliser are made to optimize the nutrient reserves in trees with the aim of improving bud formation and development in the following spring.
This year, we took the opportunity to introduce a new product, Bud Builder, which besides Zinc and Boron, contains a significant quantity of Magnesium.
To start the marketing and promotion of
Bud Builder technical talks were held with the distributors and technical information was sent by post to farmers as well as two meetings with producers located in the key fruit growing areas.
The message was well received by farmers and has ensured that all the Bud Builder brought into Chile was placed into the market.
We are very grateful to Steve Howse who, during a recent visit to Chile,
introduced Bud Builder to us.
