Yara Australia & New Zealand both recognised at the Yara Specialities Seminar 2005
Both Yara Australia and Yara New Zealand featured heavily in the annual "Brilliant Performer Awards 2004" which was held in Lillestrom, Norway in February 2005.
Following the separate integrations of both of these Phosyn business units into Yara in April 2004, both Australia and New Zealand exceeded their challenging 2004 budget targets for both the Yara and Phosyn range of products.
To summarise the Australasian performance, New Zealand achieved category nominations for the Brilliant SQM performer and also took 3rd place in the Brilliant Phosyn performer category.
Australia received category nominations in the Brilliant Phosyn performer and Brilliant Pearls performer whilst receiving 3rd place in the Brilliant Nu3 performer category, 3rd place in the Brilliant SQM performer category and 2nd place in the major Brilliant Performer 2004 category.
The awards are recognised for solid team performances on ´both sides of the Tasman´. There has also been a continued and significant interaction between both Australia and New Zealand during the course of the year, particularly on the commercial and technical aspects of combining the two product ranges to achieving crop quality and yield.
