5th International ISHS Symposium on Mineral Nutrition of Deciduous Fruit Crops
John Brooks attended the 5th International ISHS Symposium on Mineral Nutrition of Deciduous Fruit Crops which took place January 16-21, 2005 in Talca in Chile.
More than 100 delegates met over 3 days to listen to and discuss recent research covering a whole range of topics including soil and rhizosphere effects on root growth and plant nutrition, nutrient uptake and utilization, diagnosis of nutrient deficiency and toxicity, fertilization practices and their environmental impacts, nutritional implications of organic management, interaction between root growth and nutrition, mechanisms of foliar uptake, low input and precision agricultural systems, interaction of nutrition with orchard management practices, salinity and mineral nutrition, effect of mineral nutrition on fruit quality and mineral disorders.
It was very pleasing that many of these very eminent researchers from around the world recognised Phosyn and knew of our products. There were several very interesting papers with direct relevance to our business demonstrating the importance of a Phosyn presence at gatherings of this type.
