New Sales Agronomist for Yara Australia in Victoria and Tanmania

Leading speciality fertiliser company, Yara Australia who are well known for their high quality dry applied and fertigation products in addition distribution of the foliar range of Phosyn products, have appointed a new Sales Agronomist for Victoria and Tasmania.

As a replacement to Nick Sanders, who managed horticultural sales in Victoria and Tasmania, Yara Australia is delighted to announce that Rod Hancl will be taking up the reigns in mid November 2004 and will be the primary field contact to Yara´s distribution partners across the Vic/Tas region. Rod is currently working in a technical and commercial role with Roberts Ltd in Tasmania and is widely respected by the industry through his broad knowledge of the horticultural and broadacre markets.

Rod brings to Yara Australia a wealth of expertise and flair notably in the areas of agricultural and horticultural crop monitoring, field based surveys, sustainable farming practices and development of fertiliser programs to meet grower needs.

Coupled with Rod´s many years of industry experience, Rod holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science with Honours obtained the University of Adelaide, which demonstrates a thorough understanding of Plant and Soil Science, Crop Protection, Horticulture and Applied Research.
