The Power of Analysis
Redfern Farm Services has been working with Phosyn in order to provide their growers with more agronomic expertise in order to provide better yield and quality to the crops they are growing. Redfern´s has been working with the Megalab system since its inception into the Prairies market.
Steve Beaumont an agronomist with Redferns in Brandon Manitoba says

An example of this is work Redferns has done in conjunction with Jim Green a local producer of peas in the Brandon area. A tissue test was taken on 29 June 2004, and the Megalab report come back with the indication that all his nutrients were adequate except for boron. At this time Jim was told of the benefits of Bortrac to his crop, and a test strip of 20 acres was applied. The crop was taken to harvest in the third week in September.
The results of the harvest was 60 bushels per acre on the check strip, and 67 bushels per acre where the Bortrac was applied. This has resulted in an extra $18.00 per acre in the producers pocket.
