Phosyn´s 2004 Marketing Meeting

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed people to Pocklington at the end of June to partake in our Annual Marketing Meeting. We had more than fifty delegates at each of our business sessions and in total sixteen different nationalities were represented. Our emphasis was on how we could use our expertise to "access more hectares."

With this theme in mind we had sessions devoted to Product Management, Product Application and in-field Trial Experience. Our well proven integrated approach to nutrition was well covered and the Composite Product Approach was chosen as an example of the commercial effectiveness of this profile. We had reviews on new products and were kept informed on exciting developments associated with IT. The general consensus was that the Marketing Meeting 2004 fulfilled its main function and we are all ready to "access more hectares" in the coming year!!

It was good to have our partners in attendance and contributing with their presentations and stimulating approach in our question and answer sessions. Thank you Yara and SQM.

The future will be one of serious partnerships that share their competences and secure the appropriate critical mass in the market place. We have the partners and have already shown the benefit of downstream integration with value added products and strong technical positioning. The strengthening of communication and technical exchange between Yara´s team in Hanninghof and their associates in Pocklington is particularly gratifying.

In addition we have Phosyn´s ´Phacts´ and Yara´s ´Speciality Link´ both of which are important in spreading the word. It remains only to thank you again for all contributions, business, organisational and social and wish you all well for the year ahead.
