Whole chain assurance is becoming increasingly important in food production. With the focus on safety and quality, accountability from the field to the supermarket shelf is now required in modern agriculture.
Eurepgap is an organisation made up of members from all areas of the fresh produce industry. Targeting improved safety in production, the initiative was started in 1997 as the Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group (EUREP) and has focus on Good Agricultural Practice. Supplier members are advised and assisted in hitting certain targets within their production practice.
As international leaders in crop nutrition, Phosyn has recently joined Eurepgap as an associate member. Phosyn´s systematic approach to crop nutrition, including ISO accreditation and quality products, information and analytical services, is an ideal partner to Eurepgap and the company looks forward to being a committed and valued member of the group.
