Quality Assured
All Phosyn products are designed, formulated and manufactured for agricultural and horticultural applications under ISO 9001 accreditation. This quality assurance system ensures that the highest standards are maintained from approved specification raw materials through to customer services.
Phosyn first obtained accreditation to the international quality assurance standard (BS EN ISO 9001:1994 as it was then) in April 1994. In the intervening 9 years we have been audited twice yearly to ensure continuing compliance, and have passed all audits without any problems being raised.
In September 2002 we started to upgrade the quality system to meet the more demanding requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000, with its emphasis on continual improvement and customer satisfaction. During the most recent external audit (April 2003) we were assessed for full compliance with the new standard, and recommended for accreditation with no issues being raised.
We expect our new certificate to be issued within 4 weeks, and are therefore well ahead of the deadline for implementation of the new standard, which is 15th December 2003.
The ISO accreditation is good news for Phosyn and excellent news for our customers.
