Mantrac 500 increases pea yields in the Prairies

In 2002 work carried out in Hamiota, Manitoba, green and yellow variety pea crops were treated with Mantrac 500. The application was made at the 10% flower stage following tissue analysis through the MEGALAB.net system.

Grower Ken Ellis was naturally impressed with the performance of Mantrac 500:

"After we tissue tested my peas and found them to be short in manganese, we went ahead and applied Mantrac 500 at the 10% flowering stage. I´m glad we did because we saw a 5 bushel/acre increase over the untreated area. I will certainly be tissue testing next year and using Phosyn micronutrient products where necessary."

The crop was harvested on August 22nd, and the yield results were as follows:
