Do not be palmed off with imitations
A notable and growing area of Sri Lanka´s exports is the production of ornamental palms.
Working with the island´s producers and Phosyn´s distributor, we set out through methodical analysis to understand the nutritional demands of palms through the year - so to ensure not only excellent production, but also to respond to specific needs at specific times. In a crop such as ornamental palms - where product quality is measured in appearance, rather than taste or volume, it is crucial to ensure repeat and consistent appearance of the leaf.
Following lengthy leaf, soil and water analysis, coupled with field visits, Phosyn personnel are now able to work closely with local management to ensure that palm production is always optimised.
With fertigation options from the Nutrel range combined with foliar applications of Phosyn´s products the approach is supplying confidence to the grower and real benefits in the quality of end product.
