Cotton on to Our Products
Cotton production in the South Eastern USA covers millions of acres. Phosyn and the MEGALAB.net system has been operating in this area over the last 3 years and has received thousands of cotton leaf samples from the States in this region. By reviewing the nutrient levels in these crops key nutrients can be identified and MEGALAB.net´s online systems report crop specific recommendations into the field.
Calcium has been identified as one of the most commonly deficient nutrients in cotton in this region, and is important for staple, tensile strength and micronaire. Following MEGALAB.net advice, the Davis Farm in Virginia, USA applied Califlow as part of their program also involving foliar nitrogen. The 2001 season was wet and the crop had a heavy boll set.
"Our yield averaged 1100 lbs/acre on over 950 acres. Added to that, all cotton graded above average staple of 35.1, which meant no deductions.
High yields, good quality and no deductions equal top return on investment using MEGALAB.net and Phosyn products." - Ray and Jeff Davis
