Impregnation gains momentum
IMPREG means highly consistent and uniform application of trace elements onto granular fertilisers whether straight, compound or blended*. Described simply, the fertiliser is sprayed with one of Phosyn´s liquid trace element products and every granule therefore becomes "IMPREGNATED". The IMPREG system offers total flexibility, since the choice of trace element and rate of application can be adapted to suit any situation.
Benefits of Impregnation
The impregnation of fertiliser with Phosyn´s liquid trace element products overcomes the problems of granular incorporation because every single fertiliser granule is treated, giving a 10 fold increase compared to granular incorporation. And since each granule is treated, there is no segregation of the trace element component of the fertiliser. These two benefits combine to give a much increased efficiency of application and greater availability to the crop.
A further benefit of IMPREG is the very low rates of trace element product treatment per tonne of fertiliser (typically less than 1%) compared to granular incorporation.
*Do not apply to Ammonium Nitrate fertlisers
