Spring in the Prairies - just around the corner?
It´s hard to believe with weather like this that we could be planting crops by the end of April. The last day of February was -29°C, with a windchill of -34°C. On the other end of the spectrum, we can probably expect temperatures of +34°C in mid-July!
Phosyn held a pair of educational seminars in Portage la Prairie and Brandon, Manitoba on February 27th and 28th, 2001. Jeff Bereza and John Brooks presented a wide variety of agronomic information to both dealers and growers. When fertilizer prices are on the rise and commodity prices are low, it is important to have the right information in order to maximize yield and quality. One of the ways to achieve this is through analysis.
Phosyn´s unique Megalab program transforms nutrient analysis results into practical, cost effective recommendations. The Megalab Network now extends across the world providing customised interpretation and advice. Megalab is accesible over the Internet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing the ultimate in customer service based analysis.
In Western Canada last year, we were able to generate over 1,500 samples through the Megalab system. Megalab has once again proven its value in providing high quality recommendations for a vast number of crops throughout Western Canada. Along with proper recommendations come high quality products.
