Beetrac - and the beet grows on

Farmers in Turkey have long sung the praises of Phosyn products on a wide range of crops. In particular they have long known of the benefits of Phosyn products on sugar beet.

Historically many farmers have started the season by using Teprosyn Zn as a seed dressing to ensure strong early vigour of the plant. Now, with the introduction of the foliar applied Beetrac (sold as Pantrac - Pancur is the Turkish for sugar beet) they are able to ensure a continued balanced nutrient input to the crop - and the benefits are plain to see. Beet size, sugar content and yield have all improved with the application of Pantrac.

The message of Pantrac has now been spread to the Black Sea region in the north of the country, a major sugar beet producing area. The farmers there have embraced the benefits of Pantrac (Mn, B, Cu, Zn and Fe) alongside on-going use of Teprosyn and, in particularly boron deficient areas, applications of Bortrac 150.

Pantrac is marketed in other countries as Beetrac and Samar Ghand with equally good results. Whilst Phosyn may have only been active in this northern region of Turkey for a relatively short period of time the response of the farmer, and the crop, to the product has been positive.
